The East Africa Clearing House on Childrens Rights and Welfare project is an initiative of the UNESCO Nairobi Office Education Office, in cooperation with the various departments of Children Rights in the various countries of East Africa Community (EAC), and other willing Partners.

This Clearing house is a collection of Child Studies from various sources in the EAC, in the form of abstracts and in cases where the studies are public, we have the actual document.

Objectives of the East Africa Clearing House on Children Rights and Welfare

· To be an interactive, open, accessible databank of research on children up to 18 yrs of age
· To enhance capacity, policy development on children matters
· To provide an avenue for sharing regionally research on children
